Praise!!
Sheri's (Leon's sister in-law) surgery went well and at last report her recovery proceeds on schedule. The big news on this: They did not have to replace the valve, resulting in future replacements every 10 years, but rather they were able to repair her mitral valve. The God designed valve is preferred by the doctors over the man made valve.

Effie Johnson Evangelism Outreach
Effie Johnson, Christian Black Gospel Singer, traveling in Japan doing clinics and concerts has laryngitis. She and her band had an extremely effective ministry this past Sunday with our Black Gospel Choir. Effie's faith and witness shines forth and our enemy does not like it. Pray for her complete healing and ministry schedule for the rest of this week among our Black Gospel outreach locations here.
Pray For Mana Tanaka Please
I asked for prayer for baby Mana Tanaka. The following is a "good news report and an on-going prayer request from Mana's Grandparents.
"Mana underwent 3 1/2 hours of surgery on Monday night (Utah time) The surgery went well and the doctor was able to repair the 8 mm hole with a patch. She was placed in ICU and remains there.
She is experiencing a complication and we would ask you to continue to uphold her in prayer. Although her heart and lungs are strong, there is an unusual situation with drainage from the pericardium. The doctor is hopeful that this will clear up in a few days. The longer they have to leave this particular drainage tube in, the greater is the chance of infection.
Darla and Nao are able to see her 2 times a day for a period of 20-30 minutes per visit. Mana is responding well and loves to see Mommy and Daddy. Please pray that God will continue to work in Mana's little body."

June 30th & July 4th

Abi's Orthodonture Adventure
We are facing about 2 years of braces for Abi. Please pray for wisdom for the dentists and for quick physical response to the treatement. She has several impacted teeth that will have to come out and the issue of the roots of the teeth shorter then normal, so a bit complicated. But it needs to be done as the health of her gums is at risk. We are thankful for an excellent orthodontist and a state of the art clinic.
Her oral surgery on the 12th went well. Little pain and no swelling. On the 17th she will get her first installation of braces.

Mr & Mrs. Shimoda
It is a wonderful testimony of God's sovereignty and saving power. Mr. Shimoda was on a fast track to professional sumo when an injury ended his college & future sumo career. Then God took him to the USA to be saved and discipled. He returned to Japan for seminary studies and God brought him into contact with the Keisen Omitama Chapel. Along the way the Lord developed a vision for the poor of Peru.
Mrs. Lily Shimoda is a Peruvian who was living and working in Japan on an expired visa, when Omitama Chapel and Midorino Chapel with a summer team from Korea canvassed the rural area she was living in at the time. Lily accepted the Lord on the spot and started attending Omitama Chapel. Mr. Shimoda came into relationship with Omitama several years after that. Now they are married with one daughter and raising support to minister among the poor in Peru in Lily€„¢s home area.
Today we received an emergency prayer request from them. Lily is pregnant with their second child. No or an indiscernible heart beat and the baby is at risk. The desire of their heart being laid before the Lord is full healing and a healthy birth. They pray the Lord€„¢s will be done. Please join us in laying this before the Lord.
